HR Truck Driver – Local Multidrop Deliveries

Aquachem is looking for an experienced and dependable HR Truck Driver to join our established warehouse and delivery team in Dandenong South.

This is a permanent, full-time local driving position servicing customers throughout metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Geelong. You will be home each night, with no interstate travel.

The position would suit a safety-conscious driver who enjoys regular customer contact, takes pride in their vehicle and is comfortable completing multidrop deliveries.

About the position

Your responsibilities will include:

- Completing scheduled multidrop deliveries throughout Melbourne, Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula

- Safely loading, securing and unloading customer orders

- Completing some hand-unload deliveries

- Using a tailgate and electric pallet jack where appropriate

- Forklift loading and unloading

- Providing friendly and professional service to customers

- Completing delivery documentation and required vehicle checks

- Assisting with picking, packing, loading and general warehouse duties when not driving

- Occasionally assisting with product packing and liquid-filling duties, with training and PPE provided

- Keeping the allocated vehicle clean and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A current HR truck licence

- A current Forklift licence

- At least two years’ experience driving HR vehicles

- Experience completing metropolitan multidrop deliveries

- A safe driving history and strong knowledge of Melbourne’s road network





- Good communication and customer-service skills

- The physical ability to complete manual handling and hand-unload deliveries

- A reliable, punctual and safety-focused approach

- The ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team

Experience transporting chemicals or dangerous goods would be advantageous but is not essential, as appropriate training will be provided.

Hours

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Dandenong South warehouse.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Due to the seasonal nature of our business, reasonable additional hours may be required during the busy summer period.

Aquachem operates throughout the Christmas and New Year period, closing only on public holidays. Applicants must therefore be available to work during this period.
