About the Role:
Working closely with Partners and senior team members,
you will manage a varied client portfolio while delivering high-quality taxation and business advisory services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of financial statements (year end and interim) and tax returns
Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS’ and IAS’
Liaise with clients re: missing information and queries etc
Reconciliation of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and other software
Report to Partners for review, queries and progress on clients
Research on tax-related issues and provide advice to clients
Ad-hoc jobs as required
About You:
To be successful, you will have:
5+ years’ experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
Experienced with tax, accounting and business matters
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
CA or CPA qualified (or currently studying towards completion)
Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Punctual and reliable
Technically minded and computer savvy
Experience using Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting software will be highly regarded.
Live local to the Mornington Peninsula or surrounding areas
Days:Monday to Friday
Hours:9am – 5pm
