An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Product Manager to join a high-profile Federal Government program focused on delivering impactful digital products and services.

This role is suited to a strategic and outcomes-focused product leader who can work across business, policy, and technology teams to define product direction, prioritise investments, and drive delivery of solutions that create real value for users and stakeholders.

About the Role

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for shaping product vision, translating strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, and ensuring delivery teams remain focused on achieving measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, business owners, policy teams, and multidisciplinary delivery teams to drive continuous improvement and maximise product value.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and communicate product vision, objectives, and outcomes aligned to organisational priorities
- Translate strategic objectives and user needs into prioritised product roadmaps and backlogs
- Make informed trade-off decisions balancing value, risk, effort, dependencies, and delivery constraints
- Partner with business owners, policy teams, and technical specialists to deliver high-value outcomes
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, architects, designers, and testers to ensure a shared understanding of priorities and delivery goals
- Monitor product performance, risks, and outcomes, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Drive ongoing product improvement through feedback, performance metrics, and emerging business needs
- Ensure products are delivered in accordance with governance, compliance, and organisational standards

Key Experience Required:





- Demonstrated experience managing digital products or platforms within a complex enterprise environment
- Proven success working with multidisciplinary teams in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Strong ability to translate strategic, business, or policy objectives into product goals, roadmaps, and delivery priorities
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and balancing competing priorities to support effective decision-making
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, dependencies, and delivery trade-offs
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Previous experience within Australian Government environments
- Experience managing public-facing or information-rich digital platforms
- Knowledge of user-centred design, service design, or product-led delivery approaches
- Experience operating within highly regulated or governance-driven environments
- Active AGSVA Baseline (or higher) security clearance required
