The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Production Foreman to lead daily factory operations. This active leadership role keeps you on the floor while you use our advanced electronic scheduling system — including a mobile app that gives every team member clear real-time visibility of priorities and work allocations — to drive efficient workflows, on-time delivery, and high-quality outcomes for luxury and architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production scheduling, monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and allocate work from drawings/work orders to maximise efficiency.
- Lead the daily 7:00am Toolbox Meeting (priorities, safety, updates) and participate in the 2:00pm Production Meeting.
- Build and develop a high-performing team culture with strong morale, accountability, performance management, and recruitment support.
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance through visible leadership and processes.
- Apply your trade expertise to troubleshoot issues, interpret specifications, and support continuous improvement.
About You
Essential
- Trade qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Cabinet Making or extensive equivalent experience.
- Proven coordination/supervision of production teams in manufacturing or joinery environments.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience or aptitude with production scheduling systems and digital tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and safety focus.
Desirable
- Prior foreman/supervisor experience in timber joinery or similar.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background.
