TowRite Towbars is one of Australia's leading towbar manufacturers, supplying high-quality towing solutions to customers across the country.

Over the past six months, we've experienced significant growth, and with that growth comes new challenges. As order volumes continue to increase, we're looking for a hands-on Production Manager to help us build the systems, structure and leadership needed to support the next stage of our journey.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. We're looking for a leader who enjoys being on the factory floor, supporting the team, solving problems, improving processes and making sure production keeps moving efficiently.

You'll work closely with the business owners and play a key role in helping us improve workflow, reduce bottlenecks, increase accountability and create a more scalable manufacturing operation.

What the Role Involves

- Managing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility
- Leading and supporting production staff, team leaders and supervisors
- Ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and on time
- Identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical solutions
- Improving production processes, procedures and workflow
- Developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Working closely with purchasing, dispatch and administration teams
- Monitoring productivity, quality and manufacturing performance
- Coordinating labour and resources to meet customer demand
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the factory
- Promoting a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability and safety




- Helping implement systems that support future business growth

What We're Looking For You don't need to have spent twenty years running a massive manufacturing operation. We're looking for someone with solid production leadership experience who is ready to take ownership and make a genuine impact.

Ideally, you'll have:

- 3+ years' experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, Workshop Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience in fabrication, metal manufacturing, automotive, engineering or a related industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- The ability to organise, prioritise and keep production moving
- Experience improving systems, processes or workflow
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to lead from the front
- Experience using Unleashed is advantageous
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Continuous Improvement principles is highly regarded
