The KW Group is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team on an ongoing FIFO roster supporting works across our ongoing projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised coordinator with a strong background in mining or civil construction who thrives in a fast-paced project environment, and may also suit an experienced Site Administrator looking to step up into a Project Coordinator role.

About the Role

Working alongside the Superintendent, Supervisors, and site teams, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring projects remain on schedule.

Roster: 8:6 FIFO

Employment: Ongoing

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator in a mining or civil construction environment.
- Previous experience working on Rio Tinto sites.
- Current RTIO site induction.
- Proficient in developing and managing Gantt charts using Project 365 / MS Project.
- Experience managing Avetta and Pegasus systems for RTIO compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of FIFO project delivery.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a energetic environment.
- High level of communication and stakeholder management skills.




- Strong compliance capability including site training matrices, rostering, and payroll coordination.
- Experience with PALMS booking system for RTIO flight and travel coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day project activities and support site and head office.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, registers and reports.
- Coordinate mobilisation, onboarding and workforce logistics.
- Liaise with clients, supervisors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Track project progress, schedules and deliverables.
- Assist with procurement, purchase orders and material coordination.
- Ensure documentation complies with client and company requirements.
- Support project cost tracking and administrative functions.
