Wix Engineering is seeking an experienced boilermaker/fabricator/welder to join our skilled team in Pakenham, VIC. This full-time position is integral to the ongoing success of our engineering and manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for producing high-quality metal fabrications and carrying out specialised welding work to the highest industry standards. We are a job shop type workshop mainly doing architectural structures/facades, stainless and ms handrail and balustrades, various stainless products, ally fab jobs, pipework, construction equipment, roto moulds etc.. We also offer multiple positions both site and shop based work with a excellent variety of work types and products to suit everybody.

What we're looking for

Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble metal components and structures

Operate a variety of welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Arc) to join metal parts and assemblies

Collaborate with the engineering team to solve problems and improve manufacturing processes

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment

minimum 4 years experience in welding, metal fabrication, or a related field





Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Good communication and problem-solving skills
