Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our Brisbane operations team.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused, and motivated HR Drivers who take pride in their work and have experience operating heavy rigid trucks in a fast-paced transport environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting flower loads from Lynch Brendale and delivering them safely and efficiently to various Distribution Centres (DCs) and retail stores, including Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi.

Key Responsibilities

- Collection of flower trolley loads from Lynch Brendale.
- Deliveries to Distribution Centres (DCs) and retail stores, including Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi.
- Safe operation of HR trucks ranging from 10-pallet to 14-pallet capacity.
- Loading and unloading using flower trolleys (no manual lifting required).
- Safely pushing and manoeuvring loaded flower trolleys during collections and deliveries.
- Completing pre-start vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Providing professional customer service while representing SLR.
- Following all fatigue management, road safety, and company compliance procedures.





About the Role

- Start Date: Immediate start available.
- Employment Type: Casual with consistent hours and the opportunity to transition to Full-Time.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday roster and Sunday on Call.
- Shift Options: Morning and Night shifts.
- PPE: Company supplied.
- Penalty Rates: Paid in accordance with the applicable Award.

Minimum Requirements

- Current Australian HR Licence (or higher).
- Previous HR truck driving experience within the Brisbane Metropolitan area is essential.
- Experience operating 10 to 14-pallet HR trucks.
- Experience delivering to major retail Distribution Centres and stores, including Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi, will be highly regarded.
- Ability to safely push and manoeuvre loaded flower trolleys.
- Strong knowledge of Brisbane roads, suburbs, and delivery routes.
- Strong understanding of road safety and fatigue management requirements.
- Good communication skills and a skilled attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- A clean driving history is highly regarded.

Preferred

- Applicants based in Brisbane's Northern suburbs will be highly regarded due to the collection location at Lynch Brendale.
- Experience with retail freight and time-critical deliveries will be an advantage.
