Project Manager / Measurer

About the business

We are a fast-growing company based in the Northern Suburbs. Our core business is the manufacture & installation of stone benchtops, splashbacks & the like for the mid- to high-end commercial apartment & residential markets. We undertake projects throughout the Melbourne metropolitan area.

About the position

We are seeking a team member who has excellent communication skills, a high attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.

Day-to-day responsibilities

- Meticulously schedule and control the site measures (including the use of external subcontractor templators during busy periods)
- Undertake handover with our estimators to understand the scope of works
- Liaise with clients/site supervisors regarding all required information/specs
- On-site measuring of jobs and convert these into finalised shop drawings in the office
- A full driver's license and White Card is required for on-site measuring duties




- Confirm shop drawings with clients and internally prior to production (if required)
- Maintain tracking of the project measures & installations
- Prepare required reports

Applicant Must have

- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
- Effective time management and organisation skills
- Great customer service
- Very strong computer skills (email, excel & AutoCAD 2019)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or measuring
- Intermediate-level AutoCAD 2019 proficiency required
