Inner You Development is a growing multidisciplinary allied health and mental health practice committed to delivering high-quality, ethical, and person-centred care. We provide services across the lifespan, with a strong focus on early childhood, children, adolescents, families, adults, and veterans.

Due to increasing referrals, we are expanding our contractor network and are seeking experienced clinicians who are passionate about making a meaningful difference while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of private practice.

The Opportunity

This opportunity is offered as an Independent Contractor Agreement and is not an employment position.

As an independent contractor, you will operate your own professional practice while delivering services under the Inner You Development brand. You maintain control over your clinical practice, workload, availability, and professional decision-making while benefiting from the support and infrastructure of an established multidisciplinary clinic.

This model is ideal for clinicians seeking greater flexibility, increased earning potential, and the freedom to build a caseload without the administrative burden of managing their own practice.

Our Current Clinical Focus

We are particularly seeking clinicians experienced in:

- Early Childhood Intervention

- Children and Adolescent Mental Health

- Child Development

- Parenting and Family Therapy

- Neurodevelopmental Conditions (Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability)

- Trauma and Attachment

- Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

- NDIS-funded supports

Applications are also welcomed from clinicians working with adults, couples, veterans, older adults, and other specialist populations.

What You'll Do





As an Independent Contractor, you will:

- Deliver high-quality assessments and therapeutic interventions within your professional scope of practice.

- Maintain independent clinical judgement and treatment planning.

- Build and manage your own caseload with support from our referral network.

- Complete clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legislative standards.

- Communicate effectively with clients, families, referrers, schools, support coordinators, and other stakeholders.

- Maintain professional registration, insurance, and compliance requirements.

- Participate in collaborative multidisciplinary care where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must possess

- Relevant tertiary qualifications.

- Current AHPRA, AASW registration or membership with the appropriate professional association.

- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

- An ABN and eligibility to work as an independent contractor in Australia.

- Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card (where applicable).

- National Police Check.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed, and client-centred practice.

Desirable Experience

Experience working with one or more of the following funding streams is highly regarded:

- NDIS

- Medicare Better Access

- Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

- WorkCover

- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

- Private clients

Additional experience in trauma-informed practice, EMDR, CBT, ACT, DBT, family therapy, neurodevelopmental assessment, play-based therapy, or attachment-focused interventions will be viewed favourably.
