About the Role

Applus+ is currently seeking a QA/QC Senior Advisor to support our Tier 1 client, based in their Perth CBD office. This role provides specialist quality expertise, assurance, and leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects throughout Western Australia. It is critical in ensuring quality requirements are embedded throughout all project phases, supporting the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-performing assets that meet the client's long-term operational objectives.

Based in Perth, with occasional site travel, you will support the delivery of quality outcomes across a portfolio of WA projects. You'll provide quality leadership, assurance, and technical expertise to ensure project requirements are met and assets are delivered safely, reliably, and fit for purpose.

Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you'll help maintain quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance across all project phases. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, teamwork, and attention to detail will be key to your success in this role.

Duties Include:

- Work closely with project teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and embedded throughout all project phases.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of quality systems, standards, processes, and assurance activities.
- Review quality documentation and project deliverables to ensure compliance and fitness for purpose.
- Coordinate contractor and supplier quality activities, including inspections, records, and quality documentation.
- Assist with the implementation of quality assurance and risk-based surveillance plans.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance project performance and quality outcomes.
- Provide quality advice, reporting,



and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
- Support the use of effective quality processes and tools to meet project scope, schedule, and cost objectives.

Essential Qualifications Required:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Robust working knowledge of ISO 9001.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Mining, resources, or major project experience.
- Exposure to brownfield and/or greenfield construction projects.
- Technical trade or engineering background.

Other requirements:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within engineering, construction, mining, resources, or major project environments.
- Experience developing, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of quality governance, assurance, auditing, and non-conformance management.
- Proven ability to work across multiple contractors and stakeholders.
- Experience driving continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build positive working relationships.
