About the Role

Working within our Commercial, Contracts & Procurement team, you will play an important role in supporting purchasing activities and ensuring our operational teams receive the goods and services they need to keep our remote power stations running efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building supplier relationships and ensuring purchasing activities are completed accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities will include

- Raising purchase orders and supporting the procure-to-pay process in accordance with company procedures

- Obtaining supplier quotations and assisting with purchasing activities

- Following up supplier orders to support on-time delivery

- Expediting purchase orders and processing goods receipts for invoice payment

- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation

- Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and enquiries

- Assisting with the resolution of delivery issues and escalating matters where required

- Maintaining supplier information and records

- Providing administrative support to the Inventory, Logistics and Purchasing Manager and the wider Commercial, Contracts & Procurement team

About You

You are highly organised, enjoy working collaboratively and have excellent attention to detail.

You will also bring

- Previous purchasing or procurement experience

- Experience using Pronto

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
