Position Summary The Qualified Barber will be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional barbering services while maintaining high standards of hygiene, customer satisfaction, and workplace professionalism. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a positive client experience and help maintain the reputation of Fresh Futures Hair & Beauty Lounge as a leading grooming destination.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality men's haircuts, skin fades, tapers, clipper cuts, and scissor cuts.
- Perform beard trimming, beard shaping, hot towel shaves, and facial grooming services.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all barbering tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Sterilise barbering equipment in accordance with Australian health and safety standards.
- Recommend appropriate hair and beard care products to clients.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.




- Manage appointments and maintain accurate client records where required.
- Maintain professional presentation at all times.
- Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a skilled team.

Essential Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Barbering or Hairdressing.
- Minimum of two (2) years' recent experience as a Barber.
- Demonstrated ability to perform modern and traditional barbering techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Professional attitude with excellent time management skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working in a busy barbershop or salon.
- Knowledge of current men's grooming trends.
- Experience using electronic booking systems.
- First Aid Certificate (desirable but not essential).
- Experience providing premium grooming services.
