BB Recruitment and Consulting Services – Mernda VIC
Are you an experienced OSHC leader looking for your next opportunity? Or perhaps you're a confident educator ready to take the next exciting step into leadership?
We're looking for a passionate, motivated, and people-focused OSHC Centre Manager to lead our Outside School Hours Care service. This is your opportunity to shape a high-quality program where children feel safe, valued, inspired, and excited to return each day.
If you're someone who thrives on building strong relationships, leading a positive team culture, and creating engaging experiences for children, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
As Centre Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the success of the service—leading your team, supporting families, and creating a welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
Every day is different, and you'll enjoy the opportunity to lead with creativity, confidence, and purpose.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality OSHC service.
- Inspire, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver exceptional care.
- Plan and oversee engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate programs that reflect children's interests and promote wellbeing.
- Build meaningful partnerships with families, the school community, and local stakeholders.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations, and organisational policies.
- Manage enrolments, staffing rosters, budgets, and service administration.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and child-centred practice.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys leading from the front and believes that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful service.
You'll ideally bring:
- Experience leading or coordinating an OSHC, Early Childhood, or School Age Care service (or be ready to step confidently into a leadership role).
- A genuine passion for creating outstanding experiences for children and families.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
We know that great services are built by great people. That's why we invest in our team and create an environment where leaders can genuinely thrive.
When you join us, you'll enjoy:
- A supportive leadership team that values your ideas and expertise.
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
- The autonomy to bring recent ideas, programs, and initiatives to life.
- A collaborative workplace where relationships matter.
- The chance to make a meaningful impact on children, families, and your local community every single day.
This Could Be Your Next Career Move
Whether you're an experienced Centre Manager looking for a fresh challenge or a passionate educational leader ready to take the next step, this is your opportunity to lead a service where your ideas, leadership, and commitment will make a lasting difference.
If you're ready to build an exceptional team, create memorable experiences for children, and become part of a community that values quality, connection, and fun—we'd love to hear from you.
