About the opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Director of Medical Services, you’ll be working in a high-calibre, collegiate team with the following responsibilities:

Overseeing daily operations, quality improvement, and resource management

Fostering a culture of learning, career development, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Championing innovation to deliver patient-centred emergency care for a diverse, growing community

Building strong relationships across the hospital and broader health system

About you

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Emergency Medicine leader with:

Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or equivalent specialist registration

Demonstrated leadership experience in emergency medicine

A strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centred care

The ability to engage, mentor and develop clinical teams

Effective communication and stakeholder management capability

A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary leadership

An interest in contributing to the future of healthcare in a growing regional community
