About your role It is an exciting time to join IXOM as we continue our journey of growth, innovation, and transformation. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Kings Park. Reporting to the Quality Services Manager, this autonomous role will see you working closely with our manufacturing operations at Kings Park.
You will play a key role in driving quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities across the site, ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards. Ensuring successful external certifications are maintained as required by the business
Work with the commercial and operational teams to ensure all quality requirements are met for products supplied in the business area
Liaison with regulators and other key influences relevant to the manufactured business where required
Monitoring literature, legislation, standards and other relevant information and communication of relevant changes and other information to the business
Perform audits and inspections as required by the quality system
Lead the resolution of quality incidents and quality customer complaints within the manufactured business area
Support and build a food safety culture Maintain compliance to QMS, HACCP and food safety documentation Monthly reporting Perform back up Quality Chemist responsibilities Who are we looking for? Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
3 plus years in the food industry in a quality assurance role Proven ability to juggle competitive timelines and priorities Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and work as part of a team while also working autonomously Internal and external audit experience
Quality Chemist experience and experience as HACCP Team Leader are preferred Safety experience is desirable but not essential Ability to work across a matrix organisation
