SydneyWe are working with a US-headquartered design, engineering and construction management firm that is building its presence within the Australian data centre and mission-critical construction market.We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial and cost management support across technically complex construction projects.This role will suit a quantity surveying qualified with strong contractor or consultancy experience who is comfortable working across procurement, cost reporting, variations and contract administration.Key responsibilities:Prepare cost plans, budgets, estimates and commercial reports

Support procurement activities, tender analysis and subcontractor appointments

Review contractor quotations, payment claims and variations

Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets

Assist with contract administration and commercial risk management

Prepare cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports

Work closely with project managers, construction teams, consultants and clients

Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities





Support final account negotiations and project close-outWhat we are looking for:Quantity surveying or commercial management experience within construction

Exposure to data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex MEP-led projects

Experience with cost planning, procurement, variations and progress claims

Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes

Ability to analyse technical and commercial documentation
