Workforce International is currently seeking an experienced Quarry Operator to join a well-established hard rock quarry in Byford. This is an ongoing opportunity offering full-time hours with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.

If you have experience working in a metropolitan quarry or have recently left a FIFO position and looking to transition into a local role, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours: Monday to Friday, Working between 5:00am and 5:00pm, depending on operational requirements (10-12 hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate mobile plant including rigid and articulated dump trucks, excavators, and front-end wheel loaders

- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements

- Load, haul, and transport quarry materials safely and efficiently

- Operate equipment in accordance with site procedures, safety standards, and environmental requirements





- Utilise Loadrite systems to accurately monitor and record material movements (where required)

- Assist with general quarry operations to support production targets

Requirements:

- Previous experience working within a hard rock quarry, mining, or similar heavy industry workplace

- Proven experience operating mobile plant, including:
- Rigid and/or articulated dump trucks

- Excavators

- Front-end wheel loaders

- Must hold relevant tickets/licences to operate required mobile plant and machinery

- Current Construction White Card

- Experience operating with Loadrite systems highly regarded

- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport

- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening & Silica Health Monitoring (Spirometry)
