Radiology Bookings Officer The Role
Radiology Victoria is seeking a Radiology Bookings Officer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Head Office in Bourke Street, Melbourne.
This role works on a rotating roster within our core business hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients and referrers, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring patients receive timely access to diagnostic imaging services. Working in our Central Bookings Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls from patients, referrers and healthcare providers.
- Booking radiology appointments across multiple clinic locations.
- General administrative tasks.
- Providing accurate information regarding appointments, preparation requirements and billing.
- Contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team focused on delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Key Selection Criteria
- Positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
- Previous experience in medical or healthcare administration.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Initiative and sound problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Qualification in Medical Administration or Medical Terminology.
- Previous experience in radiology or diagnostic imaging.
