About You

You are a general commercial lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.

Your Experience & Expertise:

- Experience advising on, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology, software, SaaS, licensing, procurement, services, outsourcing and digital platform arrangements

- Experience providing practical legal advice on data privacy, data governance and information management matters, including compliance with the Privacy Act, data sharing, data breaches and consent frameworks

- Confident advising on advertising, marketing and promotional activities, including regulatory requirements relating to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), gambling, alcohol, consumer law and industry codes of practice

- Experience conducting legal risk assessments and providing strategic, commercially focused advice on regulatory, privacy and technology-related matters

- Confident collaborating with business stakeholders, risk, compliance, marketing, technology and product teams to deliver pragmatic legal solutions aligned to business objectives
