StavLink Transit — is a growing, family-owned bus company based in Broadmeadows, proudly providing school, charter and rail replacement services across Melbourne.

We are expanding our team and are seeking motivated, safety-focused drivers to become School & Charter Bus Drivers. Bus driving experience is welcomed but not essential. If you hold a Heavy Vehicle Licence and have experience operating larger vehicles, this could be the perfect opportunity to begin a new career in passenger transport. Our experienced team will provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Available Roles

School Bus Drivers – Morning and afternoon school runs, with the opportunity for in-between charter work. Positions available operating both mini-buses and full-size coaches (mini-bus positions suitable for less experienced drivers).

Additional over-time available for school bus drivers covering - Charter and Rail Replacement Service - opportunities covering general charter, school charter, rail replacement, and V/Line services, operating a range of low-floor buses, mini buses and coaches.

Positions Available:

About the Role

As a valued member of the StavLink Transit driving team, reporting to the Operations Supervisor, your duties will include:

- Safely Transport Students and Passengers: Carry out AM and PM school runs, charter services, and rail replacement operations, ensuring all passengers are transported safely, comfortably, and on time.

- Operate Using Modern Systems: Utilise electronic student manifests, pre-trip inspection tools, and electronic work diaries to manage daily operations efficiently and in compliance with company procedures.

- Provide Professional Customer Service: Represent StavLink Transit with professionalism when interacting with students, school staff, members of the public, and clients on Metro and V/Line replacement services.

- Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness: Keep vehicles clean and presentable throughout the day by using the cleaning facilities and products provided by StavLink Transit, both in-between and at the end of shifts.

- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow company policies, state transport regulations, and safe work practices to maintain a strong safety culture and uphold our commitment to operational excellence.
