Established in 1972, we are a vibrant cohesive General Practice by the beach in Point Lonsdale.

We are dedicated to delivering high quality healthcare to our patients, and providing a collaborative and supportive environment for our team.

We are currently seeking an innovative, experienced and patient focused Practice Manager, who has a desire to help grow the practice and ensure it provides the best possible care to it's community.

Reporting directly to the practice directors, you will be responsible for the overall operational management of the practice, including leadership roles with our reception team, accreditation, IT systems and governance.

Skills and Experience

- Two years experience in a practice management role, preferably within General Practice.
- Highly developed management, organizational and customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high level of initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.




- Experience in office management and administrative support systems including reception, human resources and occupational health and safety.
- Experience with General Practice software systems.
- Knowledge of RACGP Practice accreditation standards.
- Well developed computer literacy and IT skills.
- Ability to develop and implement new systems throughout the practice

Key Responsibilities

- Managing a large clinical and reception team.
- Overseeing the daily management of the practice.
- HR management responsibilities.
- GP Registrar and medical student administration
- Management of budgets, accounts and payroll.
- Management of PIP and WIP payments.
- Maintaining accreditation standards and compliance with current legislation, and regulations, including National Privacy Principles.
- Managing IT systems, practice technology and data security protocols
