Physiotherapist
Help women stay active—not stop doing what they love.
What if your next physiotherapy role combined sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and pelvic health into one rewarding career?
At Active Pelvic Health, we don't separate pelvic health from movement.
Our clinicians help women recover from injury, return to running, lift heavier, train through pregnancy, recover after birth, navigate menopause, and overcome pelvic floor symptoms—using exercise, strength and performance‑based rehabilitation as the foundation of care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation and wants to either build or further develop specialist skills in Women's & Pelvic Health.
This Isn't Your Typical Pelvic Health Role
If you're imagining back-to-back pelvic floor appointments all day... think again.
You’ll treat a diverse caseload that combines:
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Running‑related injuries
- Strength athletes and active women
- Pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation
- Pelvic floor dysfunction
- Pelvic pain
- Bladder and bowel conditions
- Return‑to‑sport rehabilitation
- Exercise and performance optimisation
Every day is different.
You’ll combine manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, strength and conditioning principles, movement analysis and pelvic health assessment to help women achieve meaningful, long‑term outcomes.
Grow Into a Specialist
Whether you already work in Women’s Health or you’re a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a genuine passion to specialise, we’ll support your development.
Working alongside an APA Titled Women's, Men's & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, you’ll receive structured mentoring,
clinical reasoning support and ongoing education to become confident managing complex pelvic health presentations while continuing to develop your musculoskeletal expertise.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a physiotherapist who is passionate about helping active women perform at their best.
You’ll ideally have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
- 3–5 years of musculoskeletal/private practice experience
- A strong interest in exercise rehabilitation and active populations
- APA Level 1 (or equivalent) or a genuine desire to pursue Women’s & Pelvic Health training
- Excellent communication skills
- A collaborative mindset
- A commitment to evidence‑based practice and continual learning
Why Join Active Pelvic Health?
- A unique blend of musculoskeletal, sports and pelvic health physiotherapy
- Structured mentoring with an APA Titled Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
- Build advanced Women’s Health skills while maintaining a varied MSK caseload
- Competitive remuneration
- Flexible part‑time or full‑time opportunities
- Generous professional development support
- Career progression as our clinic continues to grow
- Work in a positive, collaborative and cutting-edge team
Our Mission
Too many women are told to stop running, stop lifting or simply live with their symptoms.
We believe there’s a better way.

If you’re excited by the idea of blending musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation and Women’s Health into a truly rewarding career, we’d love to hear from you.
