About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Install Lead to join our team at United Precast Pty Ltd in Ottoway, SA. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible to lead and manage the delivery of precast installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role drives the United Precast project management framework, fostering collaboration across teams and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage and provide leadership to install crew.
- Supporting, mentoring a positive team culture and elevating the capability of the team to improve production output, while minimising risk and improving engagement.
- Attendance of prebuild planning meetings and site visits as required
- Organise plant and equipment as required including prepare load lists of panels and props
- Achieve agreed KPI’s including weekly/monthly panels installed
- Adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
- Promoting a safe, positive work environment that aligns with the business WHS objectives and complies with relevant WHS legislation and regulations. We are a Zero Tolerance Workplace to drugs and alcohol.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and maintaining a culture of customer service excellence.
- Ensure all customer requests (internal and external) are responded to in a timely and professional manner
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or precast industry
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
- High Risk Work Licence:
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Dogging (DG)
- Basic Rigging (RB)
- Intermediate Rigging (RI)
- Valid Class C driver's licence
- Able to complete install projects in a timely manner.
- Reading, interpreting and understand construction plans and drawings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced construction environment.
- Diligence and strong critical thinking skills
- Advanced knowledge of precast concrete systems and processes
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practice
- Ability to travel intrastate if required.
