This position is initially offered on a part-time basis with flexible working arrangements. Depending on the needs of the business and the experience of the successful candidate, there is the opportunity for the role to develop into a full-time position with broader responsibilities.

About the Role

Working closely with senior management, you will contribute to recruitment, employee development, workplace culture, policy implementation and a wide range of people initiatives that support the continued growth of the business.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong relationships, improving processes and helping create a professional, positive and high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain HR systems and employee records.
- Support performance,



employee development and succession planning.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
- Ensure company policies and workplace standards are effectively communicated and understood.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and company requirements.
- Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees.

About You

You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people and believes that great organisations are built by attracting, developing and supporting great employees.

You work independently, build trusted relationships, communicate confidently and exercise sound judgement. You are organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in Human Resources, People & Culture or a similar role.
- Strong recruitment and employee relations experience.
- Experience supporting managers across a broad range of HR matters.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Employment Hero or similar HR systems will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment is an advantage.
