Position Description

We are going through an exciting period of growth here at SV Partners with multiple opportunities available across the firm nationally.

Our Brisbane office is seeking an experienced Insolvency Accountant at Supervisor level to join the team.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on a portfolio of corporate and personal insolvency engagements, overseeing day-to-day matters and supporting their progression from appointment through to resolution. Working closely with your Director, you’ll play a key role in coordinating workflows, guiding junior team members, and ensuring each engagement is managed efficiently and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who combines solid technical insolvency expertise with sound judgement and a proactive,



solutions-focused approach. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully across a diverse range of appointments while continuing to build your leadership capability.

Job Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or similar;
- Minimum 4 years experience across personal and corporate insolvency;
- A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills;
- Proven time management skills with exceptional attention to detail;
- People management experience, or be a motivated Senior Accountant ready to take that next step in your career
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act and relevant insolvency law.

In addition, it would be a bonus to have:

- CA/CPA qualification or be working towards it;
- Experience with Insol;
- Knowledge of FYI Docs;
