This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role with a growing Geelong-based accounting and advisory firm, working directly alongside the Director as their 2IC, with a clear pathway towards future partnership.
You’ll have a genuine seat at the leadership table, lead a small team, manage a diverse portfolio of clients and play an active role in shaping the future direction of the practice.
This is not a role where you’ll simply inherit a portfolio and keep doing the same thing. It’s an chance to have real influence, autonomy and a voice in a progressive practice that genuinely values its people.
About You:
- 10+ years' experience working within Australian Public Practice.
- CA or CPA Qualified.
- Proven experience managing, mentoring and developing staff, as well as overseeing workflow.
- Strong experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including Companies, Trusts and Partnerships.
- Strong technical knowledge across complex tax matters, including CGT, tax planning, business structuring and Division 7A.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to provide strategic advice and build trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- A confident, approachable leadership style with a genuine passion for developing others.
- Ambitious and commercially driven, with the desire to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful practice.
