Application Support Consultant (D365 Finance & Operations)

Join a leading large Australian distribution business and play a key role in supporting enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Finance and Supply Chain.

This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a D365 Finance & Operations Application Support Consultant to join a collaborative technology team supporting a modern Microsoft ERP setting. You'll work closely with business users and technical specialists to ensure the ongoing stability, performance, and continuous improvement of a business-critical platform.

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Application Support Consultant provides technical and functional support for core business applications, ensuring Production stability and a seamless user experience. The role focuses on Microsoft technologies and integrations across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (ERP), D365 Customer Engagement (CE), and the Sitecore website.

The role works closely with business stakeholders, users, internal IT teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues, monitor and manage application, system and integration alerts, identify and support delivery of continuous improvement opportunities, maintain secure data flows, support release management, and ensure systems remain

About You

- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in an enterprise environment.
- Functional knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain Management modules.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing incidents, service requests, and user support within a structured IT support environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with both business users and technical teams.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering quality support.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), or similar application lifecycle management tools is desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE) is highly desirable.
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments will be highly regarded.
