During a time of exciting transformation, there is an opportunity for a Treatment Room Team Leader to join our busy practice in Maroubra. This practice caters to its community and patients with a wide array of onsite services.

In this role you conduct a range of clinical duties including health assessments and immunisations,assistthe Practice Manager with rostering,recruitmentand managing treatment room staff performance.

About the Role

Key responsibilities

A Treatment Room Team Leader manages the provision of services within a Medical Centre's treatment room andassistsHealth Care Professionals

They conduct a range of clinical duties with direction from treating HCPsincluding;pathology collection, vaccinations,monitoringof ECG, wound dressings, change of linen,cleanand sterilise equipment

The Treatment Room Team Leader will build relationships to create patient ease prior to procedures or treatments

They Triage patients andassistHCPs in procedures

The Treatment Room Team Leader willassistPM with rostering,recruitmentand managing treatment room staff performance.

They Liaise with PM and Treatment Room employees to ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are known and followed.

About You

You will be a Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting;previousexperience leading a successful team will be highly regarded, though we will support you with further development ifrequired





You will be passionate about health care and improving the lives of those in our community.

You will play a key role in our medical centre team and evolving business, with the initiative to made decisions and work independently whenrequired.

You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues both in person and via clinical communication systems.

Have unrestricted Australian work rights and to supply evidence of your vaccination history and immunity.
