Medical Receptionist - Specialist Endocrinology Practice

Are you an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist looking to join a supportive, patient-focused specialist practice?

We are a contemporary, growing endocrinology clinic located in the heart of Brighton, committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our close-knit team.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position, working 3-5 days per week, with flexibility to suit the successful applicant. Some remote work from home may also be available following training and induction.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
- Managing appointments and specialist clinic schedules
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Processing Medicare and private health fund claims
- Managing patient records and correspondence
- Liaising with GPs, specialists and allied health providers
- General administrative and reception duties

About You





To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (specialist practice experience highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, compassionate and professional manner
- Robust organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Confidence using medical software (experience preferred; comprehensive training in our practice management software will be provided)
