Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Fitter to join our Mackay team. You'll work across customer sites completing maintenance, installations and repairs on conveyor systems and associated equipment.

Due to continued growth, we're seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Fitter to join our Mackay team. You'll work across customer sites completing maintenance, installations and repairs on conveyor systems and associated equipment.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

- $2,500 paid upon commencement
- $2,500 paid following successful completion of probation





The bonus may be used to support relocation to Mackay, purchasing tools and equipment, or in the way that best supports your transition into the role.

About the Role

- Complete mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Install and replace conveyor components and associated equipment
- Support shutdown, breakdown and preventative maintenance activities
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement practical solutions
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
- Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams

About You

You will have:

- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related trade
- Site-based mechanical maintenance experience
- Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
- Current driver's licence

Experience with conveyor systems, materials-handling equipment, mining, ports or heavy industry will be highly regarded.

Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, Rigging or Dogging tickets will also be advantageous.
