We are looking for passionate, caring, and highly organised Catering Assistants to join our team on acasual basis at Allambie Heights
About the Role:
Working closely with the Executive Chef Manager, you will be responsible for:
- The preparation and service of high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents.
- Food preparation, basic cooking, food presentation, plating, and delivering meals to dining areas.
- Providing exceptional customer service,
ensuring residents feel welcomed, receive individualised attention, and enjoy responsive service.
- Complying with all food and safety regulations as scheduled.
- Assisting with stock control, rotation of stock, and receipting deliveries.
- Contributing to a harmonious and cooperative team culture based on mutual respect and trust.
The Successful Applicants Will Have
- A great attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service excellence.
- Previous experience in food preparation within a commercial kitchen, preferably in an aged care or health services environment.
- Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (AM/PM weekdays and weekends).
