About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Remuneration will be based on experience. In this role, you will provide clinical supervision and expertise to ensure that resident care services are delivered to the highest standard and in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements. You will play a key leadership role in supporting and guiding Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, promoting teamwork and a positive workplace culture. You will also assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives and contribute effectively to a multi-disciplinary team. Part-time and full-time positions will be considered for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing effective team leadership to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Offering clinical support and guidance to care staff in all aspects of resident care.
- Assisting the Clinical Care Coordinator in implementing and reviewing care practices.




- Acting as a senior point of contact for residents, families, and external service providers — managing feedback, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Designing and implementing service improvements to achieve productive and effective outcomes for residents.
- Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Actively participating in accreditation processes and continuous improvement planning.
- Liaising with medical practitioners and allied health professionals regarding residents’ clinical needs.
- Overseeing the management and administration of medication in accordance with policies and scope of practice.
- Developing, reviewing, and evaluating individualised care plans that reflect residents’ specialised needs and preferences.
- Promoting and maintaining residents’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Contributing to staff development and supporting a culture of ongoing learning and improvement.
- Demonstrating clinical competency across areas such as wound care, pain and continence management, falls prevention, palliative care, and dementia support.

What you will bring:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience (experience in residential aged care highly regarded).




- Proven ability to provide leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants.
- Demonstrated success in delivering and evaluating holistic, person-centred care.
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding model.
- Proficiency in wound and pressure area management, falls prevention, and infection control.
- Understanding of pain management, dementia care, and palliative approaches.
- Strong clinical observation and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a tight-knit, supportive team.
- Commitment to professional development, quality improvement, and resident wellbeing.
- Good computer literacy and accurate documentation skills.

Those eligible can increase their effective hourly rate by more than $2 per hour.

- Salary package up to $611.53 per fortnight for everyday expenses such as mortgage, rent, or school fees.
- Salary package up to $101.92 per fortnight for meals and entertainment (cafés, restaurants, etc.).
