Job description: SSAM Korean BBQ Restaurant – Melbourne CBD, Ringwood andCarnegie SSAM Korean BBQ Restaurant is one of Melbourne’s premier Korean dining destinations, renowned for delivering an authentic and interactive Korean barbecue experience. With a strong focus on quality ingredients, traditional flavours and exceptional service, SSAM has become a favourite for locals and visitors alike. We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Cooks and Chefs to join our expanding team across our Melbourne CBD, Ringwood and Carnegie locations. If you have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least one year of relevant experience, we would love to hear from you. Positions: Cooks and Chefs Locations: Melbourne CBD, Ringwood, and Carnegie Remuneration: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum (full-time)
- Prepare and cook authentic Korean BBQ dishes with consistency and care
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation
- Support daily kitchen operations and collaborate with other kitchen staff
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of ordering needs
- Comply with all food safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- At least a certificate III in commercial cookery or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a similar role
- Genuine interest in Korean cuisine and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-pacedteam environment
- Reliability and a positive work ethic
