About the Opportunity

As the founding Centre Manager, you will lead the establishment and successful opening of our new Mount Barker service. You will work closely with our Operations, Recruitment, People and Culture and Pedagogy teams to recruit your founding team,



prepare the service for opening and create a welcoming environment for children and families.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading the establishment and opening of the new service
- Recruiting, mentoring and inspiring a strong founding team
- Creating a positive, inclusive and accountable workplace culture
- Building meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community
- Ensuring the service meets all regulatory, compliance and child safety requirements
- Managing staffing, occupancy, budgets and overall service performance
- Supporting high-quality Montessori education and practice
- Driving continuous improvement across the service
- Working collaboratively with the broader AMIGA support office team

About You

You are an experienced early childhood leader who is confident building teams, developing culture and managing the operational requirements of a busy service.

You will ideally have:

- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Previous experience as a Centre Manager, Director or in a comparable senior leadership role
- Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Regulations
- A strong understanding of child safety and mandatory reporting responsibilities
- Proven experience leading,



mentoring and developing teams
- Strong business, occupancy and financial management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused leadership style
- A genuine passion for achieving exceptional outcomes for children and families

Experience opening a new service or supporting a centre through significant growth will be highly regarded.
