Cheltenham Dental is seeking a talented and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our growing practice in Cheltenham, VIC 3192. This is a part-time position initially with an expected expansion of role. This position is to cover an experienced dentist who has worked at the practice for over 40 years whom will begin transitioning into retirement over the next 12 months. There will be flexibility of picking up extra days as demand increases, candidate would be expected to work Saturdays mornings. As an Associate Dentist, you will work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver high-quality dental care in a welcoming and modern environment. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive dental treatment including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages

Performing preventative dental procedures such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education on oral hygiene

Conducting restorative procedures including fillings, crown and bridge work, and other necessary dental treatments

There is scope for complex dental treatment not limited to cosmetic dentistry, digital smile designs, clear aligner orthodontics, dental implant restorations and surgery. Mentorships is also available

Building strong relationships with patients to ensure comfort, trust, and positive experiences during their visits

What we're looking for

A current practising registration with the Dental Board of Australia

A Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia

Proven clinical experience in general dentistry practice with minimum 3 years of experience





Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

A patient-centred approach to care with a commitment to delivering excellent clinical outcomes

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in clinical and administrative work

Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time working arrangement

Knowledge of current dental software systems and digital technologies is advantageous

Experience in cosmetic or advanced restorative dentistry is preferred but not essential
