Community Occupational Therapist & Physiotherapist: Aged Care
McArthur is partnering with leading not-for-profit providers to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for permanent positions. Based in Bendigo, this role suits clinicians passionate about making a meaningful difference in community and hospital aged care settings.
You will work autonomously with older clients in their own homes, delivering secure, high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
The Role
- Deliver goal-directed, reablement-focused care to clients referred through My Aged Care
- Conduct home-based clinical assessments
- Attend a community centre to work with and supervise allied health staff
- Develop, review and implement care plans
- Assess for home modifications and assistive equipment
- Collaborate with clients, families, Team Leaders, Allied Health Assistants and PCAs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience working with older adults, including dementia care
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage an independent caseload
- Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
- Knowledge of STRC, Post Acute Care and Transitional Care
- Understanding of CHSP and NDIS funding and referrals
