We’re on the lookout for anActivewear Designer to step into a high-energy, high-growth category that’s evolving fast and making serious impact.
This is a role for someone who’s quick-thinking, highly intuitive with trends, and thrives on turning ideas into product — fast. If you enjoy working at pace, staying ahead of what’s next, and seeing your designs land in market quickly, this will feel like home.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll design for a customer who is style-aware and always looking for what’s new.
In this role, you will:
- Develop activewear product with speed and confidence
- Translate global inspiration into commercially relevant designs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to keep timelines tight and output strong
- Build ranges that feel fresh, cohesive, and connected to the customer
Key Areas of Focus
Trend Direction
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and interpret them into clear, actionable direction.
- Shape seasonal narratives that guide product development and inspire the wider team.
- Present ideas with clarity, backed by insight and a strong creative point of view.
Range Building
- Collaborate with partners to develop balanced, high-impact ranges.
- Bring a strong commercial lens — understanding what will resonate and sell.
- Contribute to decisions that drive both customer engagement and category performance.
Product Development
- Create product that is considered, well-executed and aligned to the brand aesthetic.
- Work closely with offshore teams to maintain speed and quality through development.
- Produce clear tech packs and visuals to support effective execution.
- Manage timelines and shifting priorities with confidence and attention to detail.
- A sharp understanding of both product and customer. You’ll be comfortable working at speed, making decisions, and adapting as things evolve.
What We are Looking For:
- A qualification in Fashion, Textiles, Graphics or related field
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or wholesale environment
- Strong capability across Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD) and relevant systems
- Solid understanding of product development, materials and construction
- Ability to manage multiple streams of work without losing quality
- A strong eye for colour, shape, and storytelling
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate
- A proactive mindset with the potential to step into leadership
- The ability to work across key stakeholders to produce commercial, relevant womenswear ranges with strong trend foresight.
- The skill to produce elevated ranges and product at a price point that represents value in the current Australian economic environment.
Based a the edge of Melbourne CBD with a hybrid working culture.
