Business Analyst (Fixed-term Contract)

Location: Melbourne CBD / Hybrid

Salary: Up to 140K + Superannuation

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a Consumer function on a max-term contract. You'll partner across business and technology teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery of business-critical initiatives that improve customer experience and operational effectiveness.

- Partnering with stakeholders across business and technology to gather, validate and prioritise requirements
- Translating complex needs into clear requirements, user stories and analysis artefacts
- Facilitating workshops, interviews, walkthroughs and discovery sessions
- Documenting as-is / to-be processes, including solid process mapping (BPMN)
- Supporting delivery teams through solution design,



business readiness, testing and implementation
- Proactively identifying process improvement opportunities and driving outcomes

- 5+ years' experience as a BA across technology and transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated capability in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation
- Experience with user story mapping and persona-based requirements gathering
- Knowledge of BABOK tools/techniques (highly regarded)
- Comfort using AI-enabled tools to support BA activities (desirable/advantage)

- Experience in Telecommunications / Energy / Power / Gas / Electricity
- Exposure to Telecommunications BSS
- Background in large-scale enterprise and/or customer-facing environments
- Agile delivery experience across cross-functional product teams
