Clinical Nurse Specialist OR Registered Nurse, Palliative Care
Classification: CNS YS9 or RN YP2-YP9
Ongoing Part-time (0.63EFT)
An opportunity exists to join our Community Palliative Care Team in a permanent part-time position of up to 0.63 EFT, with additional casual opportunities also available.
Commencing 3rd August 2026 (or closest dates available).
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and flexible nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality palliative care within the community setting. The role involves providing holistic, person-centred care and support to patients and families living with life-limiting illness, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ideally, applicants will possess:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) experience
- Postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Care or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in community and/or palliative care nursing
- Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
Applications are also welcomed from Registered Nurses with a genuine interest in palliative care who are willing to undertake further professional development, such as the Transition to Specialist Practice (TSP) or postgraduate palliative care studies.
We are open to flexible staffing arrangements and would consider splitting the EFT across two successful applicants with lower time fractions.
