About the Role

We are seeking a skilledand experienced Boilermaker / Sheet Metal Workerto join our manufacturing team based in Dandenong. This is a hands-on fabrication role that offers a mix of welding, metalwork and fitting, along with the opportunity to expand your skills beyond traditional boiler making.

Key responsibilities include:

- Fabrication of custom components from engineering drawings
- MIG welding (mild steel) - daily requirement
- TIG welding (preferred but not essential) for stainless and aluminium work
- Structural welding and heavy fabrication
- Use of oxy cutters, plasma cutters and workshop equipment
- Grinding, drilling, cutting and metal preparation
- Fit and finish of cabins and custom components
- Surface prep, painting, assembly and finishing work
- Basic mechanical fitting and assembly tasks




- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Prospect to assist on specialised engineering builds and projects

About You

We are looking for a tradesperson who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys working on interesting specialised and custom builds. You enjoy problem-solving and working with a tight-knit team.

You will bring:

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker
- Proficiency in MIG welding - TIG skills highly regarded
- Experience in heavy fabrication and structural welding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competence with workshop tools and fabrication equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Welding tickets highly desirable but not essential
