About the Role

We are a growing manufacturer specialising in custom cabinetry and composite panel solutions, seeking an experienced Draftsperson & CNC programmer to join our team. This role combines design, nesting, and hands‑on CNC operation, working across a variety of materials including laminates, MDF, plywood, and composite panels.

You’ll play a key role in turning concepts into precision‑cut components ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD or similar drafting software
- Work with cabinetry layouts, joinery detailing, and panel optimisation
- Generate CNC‑ready files, including nesting and toolpath setup
- Set up and operate CNC routers for cabinetry and panel cutting
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings
- Ensure accuracy, material efficiency, and quality control
- Liaise with production team to ensure smooth workflow

About You

- Experience in cabinetry, joinery,



or composite panel manufacturing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software (e.g. Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.)
- CNC operating experience (routers preferred)
- Strong understanding of materials, hardware, and construction methods
- Ability to manage jobs from design through to production
- High attention to detail and problem‑solving ability

Desirable (but not essential)

- Experience with nesting software and optimisation
- Knowledge of composite materials (e.g. aluminium composite panels)
- Trade background in cabinet making or similar
