Who Are We?
Repairify Australia Pty Ltd provides advanced remote diagnostic solutions and services to the automotive industry across Australia and New Zealand, supporting repairers with connected technology, OEM-compatible diagnostics, calibrations, programming and workflow support.
Role Purpose
As a senior member of the diagnostic team, the Remote Service Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality remote vehicle diagnostics, calibrations, programming and technical repair recommendations to workshops and car-side technicians. The role requires advanced technical judgement, strong communication, disciplined record keeping and the ability to support consistent adoption of Repairify processes across internal teams and external clients. The role uses the asTech® device, OEM scan tools, OEM workshop manuals and web-based technical resources to diagnose vehicles involved in collision repairs, perform scans, calibrate systems, program new modules and recommend accurate repair pathways.

Remote Vehicle Repairs and Diagnostics
· Perform all necessary diagnostic tests and control jobs end to end, ensuring accurate technical outcomes and a high-quality client experience. · Evaluate diagnostic information,
vehicle data and repair information to provide comprehensive interpretation of technical requirements.
· Clearly explain technical diagnoses and required repairs over chat and phone to car-side technicians employed by Repairify clients.
· Use OEM scan tools, OEM workshop manuals, asTech® technology and web-based repair resources to support accurate diagnostics, calibrations, module programming and repair recommendations.
· Work collaboratively with the team to develop practical solutions that meet client needs and support secure vehicle repair outcomes.
· Create clear client reports on remote diagnostic jobs, outcomes, findings and recommended next steps.
· Maintain accurate records of diagnostic activity, client interactions, job outcomes and technical decisions.
· Act as a senior technical resource by helping improve consistency, quality and reliability across remote service delivery.
Continuous Learning and Process Improvement
· Learn, design and refine diagnostic processes that improve efficiency, consistency and customer outcomes. · Train and educate internal and external clients on new processes, ensuring adoption and practical understanding.
· Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through e-learning, OEM resources and ongoing technical development.
· Stay informed on rapidly changing automotive technology, including ADAS, vehicle networks, module programming, diagnostics and collision repair requirements.
