About Us:

Interpack is a leading Australian manufacturer of metal packaging solutions, supplying major beverage and food customers across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team on a full-time day shift basis at our Deer Park facility.

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in production equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues.
- Support the installation, upgrade, and modification of electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations,



including WHS and company protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system status.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to maintain production schedules.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- PLC fault finding experience in Siemens, Omron, and Allen-Bradley.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems.
- Experience with VFDs and HMI’s
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
