An established advisory firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services team. This is an opportunity for an experienced public practice accountant to work closely with business owners, provide commercial insights and support clients with their ongoing growth and success.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys more than traditional compliance work — someone who wants to understand their clients’ businesses, build trusted relationships and provide practical advice that helps businesses make informed decisions.

The Oppotunity:

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for:

- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and management reports
- Providing business advisory support beyond traditional compliance
- Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Identifying opportunities to improve business performance
- Supporting business owners with strategic decision-making
- Working collaboratively with an experienced advisory team

You will have the opportunity to develop your advisory capability while gaining exposure to a broad range of businesses and industries.

About you:

You will ideally have:





- 4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting
- Strong Business Services experience
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion
- Experience managing client relationships and portfolios
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Confidence communicating with business owners and stakeholders
- A commercial mindset and genuine interest in advisory work
