Lawson Elliott is excited to be exclusively partnering with a growing Mining Services business who have been operating across Australia for the last 40+ years. They are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis to cover some leave through until early November.

This will be an excellent chance for someone who is self-motivated and has a willingness to learn. This role will encompass a wide variety of responsibilities for their clients and contractors, which will give you the perfect opportunity to grow and develop your skillset.

Reporting to the CFO, your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

- End-to-end invoice processing
- Reporting and maintaining accurate records
- Complete high volume expense claims on a weekly basis
- Manage the AP inbox and respond to supplier enquiries




- Identify and solve any issues within the end-to-end process
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the Finance team with ad-hoc accounts duties as required

To be considered for this role:

- Minimum 3+ years of work experience in a similar position or industry
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Sound knowledge of large accounting softwares desired
- Strong Excel skillset/knowledge of VLookups
- High problem-solving skills and solution-focussed mindset
