Screw Flights Australia is looking for a reliable Factory Hand / Production Labourer to join our small manufacturing team.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering stable weekday hours, on-the-job training and an immediate start for the right person.

About the Role

You will assist with the production of sectional screw flighting and custom steel components for customers across Australia.

Your duties will include:

- Operating a manual hydraulic press
- Setting up and changing press dies
- Handling and moving steel components
- Packing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- General factory cleaning and housekeeping
- Following workplace safety procedures

The work can be repetitive and physically demanding. You must be comfortable lifting heavy steel, working on your feet throughout the day and completing hands-on production work.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is reliable and committed to a long-term position
- Takes pride in doing their work properly
- Can follow instructions and retain training
- Is comfortable working independently once trained




- Has mechanical aptitude and experience using hand or power tools
- Is physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting
- Has full Australian work rights
- Has a current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Holds a forklift licence or is willing to obtain one
- Is available for occasional weekend overtime when required

Previous factory or manufacturing experience would be helpful, but hydraulic press experience is not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.
