About the Role:

Reporting to the aiFAB Production Manager, you'll assist in leading the aiFAB/Comtruk manufacturing team to achieve high-quality machining standards while meeting team KPIs. This includes:

- Assisting the Production Manager in managing aiFAB/Comtruk operations
- Driving efficient, accurate, high-quality fabrication across the division
- Coordinating production scheduling and overseeing inwards/outwards goods
- Liaising with Sales and Purchasing to keep materials and services on schedule
- Exploring product improvements through new ideas, programs, tooling, and machinery
- Stepping in as Production Supervisor when required

This is a full-time (40.5 hours/week), on-site role based at Factory 2, 133 Ordish Road, Dandenong South.

About You:

- Be detailed, safety, and compliance‑driven
- Have technical aptitude, be as comfortable on the tools as on the keyboard, reading drawings, signing off job sheets, and coaching others to do the same

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in lean manufacturing
- Experience with ISO 9001
- Valid driver's licence (car)
- Ability to grasp and convey technical concepts
- Strong time management and ability to manage multiple tasks

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- Certificate in Warehouse Operations
- First Aid certificate
- Overhead crane experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Aluminium manufacturing experience
- Team Leader experience in a manufacturing environment
