Turosi is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Broadmeadows value-add/Further Processing food manufacturing facility. This is a critical site leadership role for a dynamic and adaptable operations leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and can quickly build credibility, develop people and drive operational performance. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead daily production operations while acting as the site's second-in-charge. You'll play a key role in shaping site culture, building leadership capability and delivering safe, efficient and high-performing manufacturing outcomes.

About the Role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end production operations to achieve safety, quality, service and cost objectives while driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading daily production activities to achieve operational, quality and customer targets.
- Coaching and developing Area Managers and frontline leaders to build a high-performing team.
- Driving productivity, labour efficiency, yield and operational performance.
- Championing a strong culture of safety, food safety and quality compliance.
- Partnering with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain and HR to deliver site priorities.




- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results.

About You

You are a hands-on, people-focused leader with a proven track record of building capability, leading change and delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Proven production leadership experience within food manufacturing, value-add protein, poultry, meat processing, FMCG or a related manufacturing environment.
- Solid leadership capability with the ability to engage, influence and develop teams.
- Experience driving operational performance and building frontline leadership capability.
- Sound knowledge of safety, quality and food manufacturing standards.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar highly regarded.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate data into action.
- The agility and resilience to navigate a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact.
