The role
Based at our head office in Tullamarine, we are looking for a dynamic individual looking to grow their career. You will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and be responsible for the following:
- Planning and managing material replenishment to support production and service requirements
- Monitoring inventory levels and optimising stock holdings to meet business objectives
- Monitoring supplier performance and managing supply risks
- Raising purchase orders for stock and non-stock items in line with operational requirements
- Liaising with local and overseas suppliers regarding forecasts, deliveries, and material requirements
- Managing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
- Maintaining accurate planning data,
inventory records, and SAP master data
- Monitoring supply risks, identifying shortages, and implementing corrective actions to minimise disruption.
- Managing and controlling daily inventory stock counts.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in materials planning, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain roles
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve supply risks, inventory issues, and material shortages
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage changing priorities in a agile environment
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
